Principal Designer Jennifer Zwarich has a lifetime of experience making cool things out of everything from scotch tape to chromatic aberrations. A freelance graphic designer for over 15 years, she brings a uniquely hyphenated arts background to all her creative work. Jennifer has won prestigious awards for both her paintings and scholarly writing, has toiled away in art galleries and archives in New York City and has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University and NYU. Jennifer holds a BA in Art Practice/Art History with Honors in the Humanities from Stanford University and a PhD in Cinema Studies from New York University. She designs and directs all the creative efforts of the non-profit Cold Spring Film Society, which she co-founded in 2011.

In addition to graphic design work at Black Dash, she still makes stuff by hand, including paintings and ceramic pieces (and the occasional scotch tape sculpture), on commission.
